Goddess Collection - Sirens Kiss
Siren's Kiss
They say her song was the last thing sailors heard before the rocks claimed them — not a warning, but an invitation. Her lips, painted the red of shipwrecked sunsets, still curve in that same fatal smile, even now, long after the sea gave up on singing back. Where hair once moved like water around her face, vines have taken root instead — dark, dappled leaves cascading in place of the locks that lured men to their doom. The lipstick plant winds from her crown like tendrils of song made visible, its own blush-red blooms echoing the color that never faded from her mouth. She is beauty and warning both, planted in the same breath — proof that the prettiest things are rarely the safest ones to follow.
The lipstick plant (Aeschynanthus, "Black Pagoda") felt like an obvious pairing once you look at the piece — its trailing habit spills exactly where hair would fall, and its own signature red blooms visually rhyme with her painted mouth, tying the whole piece together without needing to say it outright. The dark, patterned foliage also plays nicely against the black finish instead of fighting it.
