They say no soul who wandered onto that street after dark was ever quite the same again. The house at the end always kept one candle burning, one window cracked to the night air, as though inviting something in — or perhaps letting something out. I found the face pressed into the garden soil, its eyes catching what little moonlight slipped through the clouds, glowing faint and cold as if it had been waiting there long before the street had a name, and would go on waiting long after mine was forgotten.
Hand-painted and hand-finished in deep, weathered tones, every crack and hollow in this skull planter tells its own chapter of the haunting. Its eyes catch the dark and hold it, waiting for dusk to fall so they can shine again. The hollow of its skull stands empty and waiting, ready for whatever you choose to let take root there.
